Behind these gray walls
“ Behind these Gray Walls “
by Cane Go Hines
Behind these gray walls are my people of color
Only 2% of this captive nation is made of the other
I was told under his eyes we’re all brothers
I can bet u my life that the rest of the 98% were
just trying to make things better for their mothers
Behinds these grays walls rot and rot my people of color
They have the strength and choice to kill us all
But we all know the real killers make and enforce the law
It’s a fact my people have done some wrong
400 years of suffering and fighting was just too long
But behind these gray walls it still goes on
One million or more forgotten eyes
Trying to make a living chasing the devil’s pie
Do anything for it even steal and lie
Some even had to die, a nation of people getting drunk or high
Just trying to get by and maybe I can now stop my mom’s cry
It’s not your fault that the fridge is dry
For seventeen years she tried to get through to us
Sometimes my people feel like they are jewish
They should be ashamed and punished for how they continue to do us
In God I trust a nation filled by lust but a great change is a must
Behind these gray walls like the great wall of china
Still trying to finda way to combine us
Here you’re going to prison sign this
But with all energy and thrust these gray walls are soon to bust.
