Behind a Wall

When I open my eyes

The first thing I see

Is a wall.

The number of sighs

I give while I lie

Does not affect it at all.

So if I could break

A hole in the wall

I wonder if I would.

Or if I would make

The wall much more tall

Out of steel instead of wood.
