Behind Your Eyes

Behind your eyes I see darkness, hiding a life filled with pain and hatred.

I think who made you so broken?
Who showed you how to live in the blackness?
Behind my eyes you see light.
You think how can this be?
How is this possible?
We tear each other apart, trying to make sense of our opposing auras
You look at me with your piercing eyes, trying to find a hint of dark.
I search your eyes searching for your light.
Am I an angel and you a demon?
Together could we silence each other's screaming minds?
Can I heal your pain?
While you silence my demons..
