Being
Sitting in my car thinking
Trying to stop thinking and start being
I notice the pitter pat of rain drops
The fallen leaves splattered upon my window
I can breathe and I feel it
Not fully, but I'm aware of it
How easily we take a simple act of inhaling and exhaling for granted
That natural rhythm, gift that God has given
Breathe easy, breathe fully, feel everything, see all, even with my mind eye...
Be present and grateful for my being
For life
I am a God walking on land
