Being an Alyssa
“Being an Alyssa”
Being an Alyssa is pushing doors that say pull.
Being an Alyssa is walking into a room and forgetting why you went in there.
Being an Alyssa is laughing harder trying to tell the story of why I’m laughing.
Being an Alyssa is hiding the pain I might just happen to be in.
Being an Alyssa is saying it’s a long story when it’s really not.
Being an Alyssa is falling in love to fast.
Being an Alyssa is smiling to stop the tears from falling down my face.
Being an Alyssa is bottling stuff up to say I am fine.
Being an Alyssa is changing for no one.
Being an Alyssa loves a day when good things happen.
Being an Alyssa is when I come home everything changes.
Being an Alyssa is talking to myself so it’s not quiet.
Being an Alyssa is laughing at really nothing, or just randomness to get the tension gone.
Being an Alyssa is tripping or smacking into everything and anything.
Being an Alyssa is having many inside jokes with friends.
I am Alyssa. I am me!
