Being Broken
I tried hard to shake it away,
The fear and the pain
But they wanted to stay,
I fought in vain.
At least I've been crying
For just three hours so far,
At least I'm not thinking
To drown it all at the bar...
Maybe it was not enough
Or maybe it was too much
Was I, babe, too rough
Or was it too soft- my humble touch?
I'm out of order
All my pieces are on the floor
Was it that I crossed a border
Or that I never knocked at your door?
Where have you gone?
Tell me what's wrong,
Baby, what have I done?
Please, I can't be anymore strong!
I'm a ruin, I'm broken inside,
I'm flooded with fear,
There's too much you hide
I beg you mercy, my dear...
But it's ok, I get the point,
I've made too many mistakes
I'm really sorry to disappoint,
I'll be gone already as the sun awakes
Now that I belong to no one
I'll be choking on the meds
I'll be charging the gun,
I'll be waiting to be torn to shreds...
