Being Captured

They take me away

across the campus

into the black van

away from the stares

They take me away

to the place I hate

the fence that confines

the men in dark suits

They take me away

into this lewd place

all I feel is fear

creeping to my soul

They take me away

but I'm free at last

running from the men

the shadows of night

I'm free at last

I hide in plain sight

as one of the guards

they'll never find me
