Being born a female doesn’t mean anything is wrong with you yet,

The reason i say yet is……. Because when we get old enough we realize reality

Then realize that there are men out there that can hurt us in so many different ways

When I was younger I believe anything is possible

When I was younger I didn’t have to worry about men looking at us in different ways

When I was younger I didn’t have to worry about being cat called

When I was younger I didn’t know how messed up this world is 

When I was younger I didn’t have to worry about being called a slut or whore

When I was 7 I only worry about not being able to play with friends ‘

When I was 8 I only worry about how long we get to stay up (can i stay up later)

When I was 9 I only worry about being able to go outside and playing 

When I was 12 I begin to grow up and start to worry about how I looked 

When I was 13 I started to smoke green because who I hangout with does

When I was 16 I date then get called names for who we date or how we dress

Im 17 now and the things I’ve been through a lot and been called names but I’ve learned to brush it off and to not give a shit and shit about what anyone has to say about me

But what I’ve learned out of anything is that men don’t like strong and independent women they don’t like that because they know we can fight back

I WILL FIGHT BACK I’M NOT AFRAID

But for the women who haven’t found their voice yet i will speak for you until you do you can fight and get through anything that gets in your way
