Being Judged
I have been judged way to many times
People whisper. People laugh. People point
But most of all… people judge
People judge me for how I look.
People judge me for my religion,
my height,
my personality
People judge me for who I am!
And now…
This has to stop!
Thousands and thousands of people all around the world go through this every single day of their lives!
Why?
Why does this happen?
Why do people do this?
Just why?
Can’t you see I am just like you?
I am just a normal human being living my life!
Is it because I wear a hijab?
Is it because I pray five times a day?
Why can’t people just realize that instead of hurting me. Instead of torturing me.
Instead of pushing me down, discluding me, ignoring me like I’m nothing, calling me names like everyone else does. Why can’t you help me up?
Why can’t people just see me for who I am?
It’s as if they have a screen over their eyes that prevent them from seeing the truth.
Discrimination
Hatred
Differentiation
I see this happening to me and to other people everywhere.
I shouldn’t walk down the hallways feeling the stares,
hearing the whispers,
seeing the fingers being pointed at me...
I just can’t take this any longer!
I don’t WANT to take it any longer!
I don’t want to be judged…
No one does
Make it stop
