On Being A Lady

Tall, slim - my, how

promising.

Blue

(blooded), beautifully

bound.

Ah! And thin pages lined with

gold.

They read:

As A Lady Would Say,

How To Raise A Lady,

A Lady Entertains -

STOP.

"You Only Write Once,"

said nobody ever to these

authors

regrettably.

Perhaps a simple

#YOWO would've deterred these

authors

from lecturing

me

On Being A Lady,

and tried something

a bit more

meaningful.

Because the only

Lady

this lady would ever want

to be is

Gaga
