Being Me

This generation is always about "trying to fake it, until you make it" mentality.

Myself, on the other hand, I try to make it so I don't have to fake it.  Many people call me a pessimist, I don't see it that way, I see it as being real with myself. I find that just being myself stands out more than trying to be like a celebrity or etc.  I find that if my "cup is half empty", I ask for a refill and keep drinking.  If you ask me for my opinion, I will bluntly tell you exactly what you asked for.  Don't expect me to sugarcoat anything.  As my mom told me since I was little, "Tell the truth to people and they will respect you in the long run, even if they don't feel so now .

Being myself is just a step closer to facing reality, if I don't like myself now, I will not like myself in the future.  Therefore, I make the effort to change mistakes now and to not feel like everyone else is responsible for changing themselves; to accommodate me. Now I just do me!
