Being a Neutron

When you’re a neutron everybody is practically friends with you

A neutron makes the protons become neutral sortof

A neutron cheers up electrons in the way protons can’t

Neutrons can't just quit

They have a rule that nobody else has

Nothing compares to it

It's only theirs

And nobody can steal it

Even though protons say they can do it

But really they can't

Because the electrons won't let them

The protons say they’re doing nothing

But they're agitating the electrons

I don't want to get involved

But you kind of have to

Because you're the neutron and you have to do something

You may choose sides with the protons

But they have a point

You may choose electrons

They also have a point

Us neutrons usually stay out of drama

Because it might affect our position as neutrons

If we only choose just one side

We might become either a proton or an electron

Our role is very important

If neutrons never existed

Life would be Chaos

Even though it already is a little bit

It would be complete chaos

Most people don't know who neutrons are

But they're everywhere

And they see everything

And they know what's wrong

and They know what is right

Don't waste your time negotiating

It won't work

They will choose a side

and that's the side that's right

You May not think it's right

But It is the one that has the best point

Must've you're probably confused

But let me say this

Protons are popular

Electrons are not popular

And Neutrons fit in between there just right

If they do the job correctly

Electrons and protons will not feel like they don’t have a say.

I'm a young poet and Emily Dickinson inspires me. I also like the show about her.
