Being a Poet

Being a poet doesn't seem that great,

You don't get money for writing poetry

Unless you are really good,

or people really like your stuff.

Its kind of hard to write poetry too

Because if you rhyme its takes time,

and if you don't, the poem best make fancy shapes.

Or not, I wouldn't know.

I guess I'm not a good poet.

I can't rhyme.

I can't make fancy shaped poetry.

My words aren't the best, though others have the best words.

But I can keep on, because with poetry I don't need

Money,

Rhyming,

Good words,

I just need poetry.
