Being a Teenager

How do I feel?
I ask you.
Simply because I
Do not understand

I am lost
Waiting to be dug up,
Silently enduring my own
Tortured mind.

I think of so much,
And yet my mind
Does not recall anything
When I sit and ponder.

I see so many places,
But my eyes,
They have a mind
And one of their own.

I feel thousands of objects,
But even with these sensations
I do not know what is inside;
Making me feel like I am going out of my mind!

They say I need help,
But I have the privilege of knowing, they're wrong.
I know I will get better.
Soon I will begin to feel.

My soul cries out to me,
Giving my mind a taste of company
As I get through my years of insanity.
This is what being a teenager has done me.
