Being Welcomed To The Real World

We get into this horrible and amazing world in 9th grade

Being scared of everything and not knowing what to expect

Fearing teachers homeworks and our grades

Having your "prom" as your only friends

While the year went on

We realized this wasn´t going top be as bad as we thought it was

Teachers, 10th and 11th graders were nice

This wasn´t going to be as bad as we thought it was

Once in 10th grade we had a rougher time

We realized that time in High School was the key to success

But most of us didn´t have enough, someting that caused us stress

Parties, sports and classes for the SAT

Made us see time is not free

At this stage of our life we started thinking about our future

Even though it still seemed very distant

People at the university fair told us : "start thinking what you want to do for the rest of your life" and blah blah blah

Not giving it the importance we must have

Now that we´re in 11th grade we see everything we´ve missed

We are getting closer to the real life and we are not believing it

Thinking what

Where

And when are we going to study

We need to enjoy what we have left

Our very last ADECOPA, last class or test

And we´ll look back at this time

And see it as if it was the best

We are being welcomed to the real world

Without any rest
