The Belief

I believe in the service of putting others before yourself

the compassion of staying out in the cold

the power of giving one what they need and people being thankful for just having that little

the donation that can save someone’s life

the sparkle in a little child’s eye and the lightened smile on their face

lightheartedness, hopefulness, joyousness.

But to think some people consider to be happy they must not be concerned about others, leaves me in complete astonishment.

I believe in fighting for something I can’t let go of

I believe in making someone's day even if that means just giving them a compliment or smiling at them

I believe in the hope that someday the world around me will be a better place with all of us making a difference

concerness, faithfulness, kindred-spiritedness.

And I believe in going up to someone who has absolutely no one and asking if they want to be my friend.

The belief is about the world needing to see how thankful it should be. Every person has so much to be thankful for and can help others in so many different ways, and I feel this is really important.
