The Belief that I am Good Enough

The one thing I cannot live without is the belief that I am GOOD ENOUGH.

Before I realized I was GOOD ENOUGH,

life was much harder,

days much longer,

problems much bigger

AND worries much more suffocating.

Before I realized I was GOOD ENOUGH,

My voice was much quieter,

My writing much softer,

My movements much slower,

AND my relationships much more superficial.

BUT

When I finally realized I am GOOD ENOUGH,

My work was much harder,

My goals much clearer,

My dreams much bigger,

AND my faith much stronger.

My independence much more obvious,

My self-control more satisfying

My anxiety less daunting

AND my future more amazing.

I am a very skeptical person,

I do not believe in much,

But if you ask me what I believe in,

I say I believe in the belief that I am in GOOD ENOUGH.

And I believe in the belief that you are GOOD ENOUGH.

And I believe in the belief that no one can tell either of us that we are not GOOD ENOUGH.
