Belief-Less

I remember how much it hurt,

I recall the betral,

I can still feel the pain.

The hurt of your smiles, smiling

as if everything's the same.

I saw it coming,

I just never got around

to realize that love never lasts.

To actually believe that there's no

such thing as a "happy ever after".
