Believe

When your world is falling to pieces And you have no control And the only thing you think you can do is let go. You have to be strong If you wanna make a change Strong enough to feel, strong enough to cry... And ask why: You feel so deeply that you have to numb the pain. You try so hard but it always ends the same. Life can be better than what you're making it to be. You just gotta believe. Take a look around you At all the people who care Instead of hurting your own shoulder Lean on theirs And take a look in the mirror And smile at what you see This is who you are, you've gotten so far... So don't be: Feeling so deeply that you have to numb the pain. You try so hard but it always ends the same. Life can be better than what you're making it to be. You just gotta believe. All this time you've weakened your beautiful spirit And I can't take it anymore I wish you could see you as I see you As you are You shouldn't have to numb the pain Be true to yourself so it won't end the same. Life will be better just wait and see. As long as you believe.

Anica Stemper

I love to write poetry, and usually make them into songs. Playing guitar, singing, and writing are my three passions. I have no idea how I would live without them.
