Believe?

How am I expected to believe in love,

when every time the person flees.

How am I supposed to believe in joy,

when darkness is all my mind will decree.

How am i supposed to believe in life,

when to survive i need a degree.

How am i expected to believe in god,

when the world is just a clump of debris,

how am i going to believe in anything,

or anyone,

even me...
