Believe

If I was stranded in a desert There is only one thing I would bring with me. It gives me strength It gives me courage I carry it in my heart, everywhere I go Some people don’t believe in it For the reason you can’t see it I don’t need to see God To know he’s always in my heart. He gets me through my day Even when there’s no light He pushes me to be better When everyone else gave up on me He is there to catch me Every time I fall. When I don’t follow his path Everything seems to go wrong I get stuck in a room With no windows or doors There is no hope There is no purpose There is no reason to life If I was stranded in a desert There is only one thing I would bring with me My faith that God is by my side He will push me to continue When I’m ready to give up He will cool me down When I’m overheated by the sun He will guide me to find water When I’m ready to die of thirst He will give me strength To believe I will survive And all I need Is to believe Because when you believe Anything is possible.
