Believe In Yourself
Believe In Yourself
I may not have it all or a coke bottle body
But theres a lot more to me
I have a huge personality.......I think
I may not be the most beautiful girl in the world
Or beautiful at all <Believe In Yourself>
I may have been called ugly, fat and yes words hurt.
It's like being stabbed in the back with a knife
As if someone dropped my heart and stood on it.
Even if you're "just playing" ...it hurts.
Yes, I've been called pretty, it boost my self esteem up
But not all the way, I stay quiet, because I'm
Afraid what someone would say.
I am hurt behind my smile. No one knows
But behind that smile I'm dying with pain.
Why is the world so cruel?
Look at me! Look at me!
Light-skinned and flee
To be like me
Should be everybody’s dream
Smart and talented
Handsome and extravagant
I know God has blessed me
And my life wasn’t an accident
<Believe in yourself>
People envy me
And always try to copy me
But in reality,
Nobody could ever be nor compare to me
Self-confidence is a most important lesson.
<Believe in yourself>, but don't have too much pride-
You don’t want people to get the wrong impression.
Be kind, be caring, be you
Because you, yourself, as much as anyone in the world, deserve your love and affection.
