Believing in Miracles

One moment, a smile on my face

and then it fades.

I get a call

while sitting by my wall,

the earth shakes.

Was it just me? Or did my heart just break?

The stress was eating me alive

Inside.

My head in my arms. While the water starts rolling down my cheeks.

Could it be? These few weeks?

I sit in the hospital waiting for an answer.

It felt like fire roaring in my chest.

“I’m sorry, but we took the blood test.”

As soon, as i heard that, I knew what it meant.

And there was nothing i could do to prevent it.

I prayed and prayed for a miracle

because this was quite critical.

I walked in her room, the pills by her bed.

I don’t know what was going on in her head.

I love her to death,

but she tried to take away her breath.

“God oh God please help her!”

I prayed.

I cried and cried again, but the pain just never ends.

Then one day there is a call.

“She is alright. She will be fine.”

I thanked the lord for what he has done,

for saving her from such great harm.

There are always miracles if you just believe,

So don’t look away

because you might be pleased.

At first it may seem terrible,

but the end, is just unmissable.
