The bell rings and I

The bell rings and I obey.

Some
Many days seem gray
And people
keep blending
stay blending.

I obey and the bell rings.
And Today is okay.

Though school may be ending,
I'm now finally mending
Though my legs are swaying,
From the weighing;
The weight.
I await the weight of binders, notebooks, loose paper, and
My body.
Hunched,
My body aches.
My brain aches,
But unlike my body, it aches for more.

Learning makes Today Okay.
Learning lessens the pain.

I have to stand straight,
Because school is the only thing that makes me great.

AP Comp is the only thing that brightens my day.
It's the only thing that's natural.
Marching Band is the only thing that doesn't make me weigh over the things unsaid.
The things I said
The things I want said.
So I
Write it out. Play it out.

Pencils, Pens digging,
Blood on my fingers.
Blood in my mouth
while the braces keep digging.

Where's
What's
That ringing?
That stinging?
And then I obey,
Because obeying is the only thing that makes life, today
Okay
