Belle

Beautiful girl, fascinated by books

Living in a time where for this, she

recieves strange looks

Named for her beauty; sweet, pure Belle

Caught in her own world, a daddy's girl

Hideous beast, trapped by his image

Turned this way by his own selfishness

Imprisons a man and takes him as captive

Trades the man for his daughter,

Belle wants her father free.

Harsh, cruel, and cold

The petals are falling

Time is running low

Belle teaches the beast

how to love and be kind

The beast changes his ways

And the rose stays
