The Bench

Sitting on a bench

Alone and quiet

I tell him I'm fine

But he doesn't buy it.

Sitting on a bench

He's there too

Asking what's wrong

If there's a who.

Sitting on a bench

I look in his eyes

My stomach is fluttering

I know I can't lie.

Sitting on a bench

I tell him too

And then find out

He likes me too.
