Beneath The Stars

In the middle of the night

When the sky shines so bright

I look up at the stars

Even though it is far

Not a single sound

But we can still hear the crickets around, chirp chirp

And the owls call, hoot hoot

When you are out of town

Nowhere to be found

When you feel alone

When you feel lost

When you feel hopeless

Just know the stars are listening

Even those eyes are glistening

For all those scars and pain that you have contained

Wish upon the stars

And your happiness soon to be attained
