Benefits

Dear the VA's office,

I've wanted to speak with you for a while now.

My mother fought in Iraq for a year and a half. She risked her life for you.

She left when I was 12, I went through puberty without her.

She's a single mom of 3.

She thought the Army was a way to escape poverty.

Instead it left our family even more broken, with scars.

We reeped no benefit.

We were denied GI Bill support.

I am $100,000 in debt for my education and the number keeps going up.

I hate you Government, I hate you Army, I hate the educational system in this country.

A turmoil of curruption and greed.

I deserve financial support. My family deserves support.

Sincerely, Madelynn

P.S.- This isn't the last you've heard of me.
