Benjamin

There you were.

Standing so silently, but you were breathtaking.

Overwhelming me with many memories of you and I,

How I use to idolize the color in your eyes,

The way you waved goodbye,

Although I never wanted to let you go.

He has curly black hair,

And the taste of stoges and a cup of joe stained his lips,

and his eyes, they commit crimes.

Taking apart my heart in a very abbreviated amount of time,

Time.

After a little while I started feeling a little cold,

Feeling a little old,

and I never thought I'd feel like gold.

But then you came back into my life.

The other night I let the alcohol get the best of me,

and I couldnt get your eyes out of my mind.

I've been blind this whole time.

I adore you.

And I'd do anything for you.

When your hands are intertwined with mine,

I never feel so alive.

I just wish we could get by,

Just you and I.

Us against humanity,

We can escape the insanity.

It's turning into an illusion,

So I'll start the conclusion.

If you stay with me,

I think that we could get through

this battle against the world.

& If you don't cling to

this idea of me and you,

just know that I loved you dearly.
