Beowulf Boast

I, Des Flowers,  / from the land of sailing wind
And of the Oranges of Orlando, / possessing a motormouth element
That will bring victory upon the singing blacktop, /
where the spotlight shine upon the
As Dionysus himself, influenced the art of entertainment, /
My performance was to his honor. /  No one looked away, /
as for in only a blink, they’d miss the climax,
And when the air chambers echoed around the room, / the audience had began to cheer.
I had triumphed  their  thunderous applause, / as it is the treasure of theatre

I will continue to fulfil the expectations of my  sage, / as a promise to the direction-giver,
The flame inside will cease to burn out as it kindles,
I will conquer “The Great White Way," / with my showcase,
engulfed in the feelings of rapture to blow everyone away, /
The critics will shout my name when I step on to the stage,
“All hail the wholly, exhilarating, and empowering entertainer, Des Flowers.”
