Beside Me

I close my eyes and there you are sitting right beside me You look at me I look at you and you kiss me gently I open my eyes and there you are sitting across the room She's with you your hand in hers there's nothing I can do I close my eyes you're there again sitting right beside me We talk and laugh the time flies by when you're there beside me I open my eyes then I'm back, back to reality Here you're hers you always will be that is how it seems But in my dreams when I'm asleep you'll be mine forever
