The Best Apples

The best apples

Are too high to reach.

The closest and easiest apples

Are rotten and ugly and unhealthy.

I do not have the strength

To reach the higher apples,

But I want to stay healthy.

What should I do?

Maybe I should just walk away

And search for different trees.
