The Best Fairy Tale
Coming from a house of dissapointments and abuse,
little Dakota finds love an impossible fantasy.
"I hate my life"
She does'nt watch disney princess movies
or corny chick flicks.
"I hate my interests"
Instead she reads books, boring books.
Books with no plot twist, no happy endings.
Realist, hardcore non fiction, audobiogrophy books.
"I hate myself."
As she grows older on her own with no friends and
no desire for human reaction she finds herself in awe
with a boy on campus whom she see's everyday at the library.
He asks her out using the titles of books she's read.
Takes her on several dates.
Comforts her when needed.
Loves her always.
How can any of this go wrong?
Years pass and just as things start becoming more serious than ever.
Like marriage serious, Dakota has a confession...
I
like
a girl.
His world froze.
The girl he loved did'nt love him.
The girl he loved, loved someone else.
He was torn, broken, confused, speachless.
He obviously did'nt get his happy ending but does that really matter?
Dakota is the one that was broken all her life, she's the one we're focused on, right?
Years pass, He finds a new girlfriend.
One who loves him just as much as he loves her and Dakota is living on her own.
"I love myself"
