Best Friend

Best Friend

I’ve known you for so long, oh my dear one

You’ve made me laugh and cry over the years

The times we’ve been apart and its not done

For we have gone through many laughs and tears

Your lovely smile and kind words are enough

For you have made me seen that life’s not bad

Without a doubt, our friendship has been rough

For our long time apart, it makes me sad

With the phone calls, you make my day shine bright

You are such a caring person in life

From the moment we talked, it was a sight

Even though we would have such a bad strife

It doesn’t matter now that I have you

For my life would have been so dull and blue
