Best Friend
Deserted island, stranded but not alone,
My best friend is whom I now call home,
She is my heart, my rock, my security
The one where I find my sanity.
She is strong when I am weak,
Looking for food as we seek,
for a place where we can rest our heads,
and lay cozily in our "bed."
I'd need her with me more than ever,
The isolation I couldn't endeavour,
Surviving with each other's love
Together symbolized with doves
