Best Friend

You’re my best friend

We can talk to each other about anything without limitation

You’re my best friend

I prayed to God, daily, so that you would come into my life

You’re my best friend

The presence of your smile brightens my day

You’re my best friend

Anytime I’m sad, seeing you makes me feel a whole new way

You’re my best friend

I can trust you more with just falling and the other little things

You’re my best friend

There is nothing that I cannot trust you with

You’re my best friend

I know that you block every shot these other guys shoot towards you

You’re my best friend

I don’t have to check your Twitter, Instagram or Facebook

You’re my best friend

We do not stress about who is texting or who is in our messages

You’re my best friend

We do not fall into the norms of society

You’re my best friend

Picturing you with any other guy seems unreal

You’re my best friend

When we aren’t together, there’s a piece of me missing

You’re my best friend

When we are together I feel complete

You’re my best friend

The difference in miles cannot break our connection

You’re my best friend

I love you because you are my best friend
