Best friend

Because I love you

She walked into my life crushing and rushing

Walking, she craves friendship and waves

Her smile creates twirls and swirls

Name? Melody, calm as a tree

For now, she is my best friend like for a quest

Her caring is valuable and not malleable like a king

She will never blur you from a chance of helping at once

Because I love you …

You make me smile

You fill the air with love

You know me well just like a doctor with my files

When things go wrong, you do not move

I loved you even before we met

It was no coincidence nor bet

Will you go on a journey with me…

Without letting me off track nor flee?
