Best Friends

There is a longing in my heart and I don't know where to start

Most of my friends are moving away

and it's a very hard thing to say.

I'm feeling a bit left behind,

like my Visa has been declined.

So far yet we are still so close.

How do you handle a long distance friendship like this?

I cant help but reminisce.

I think about the great times we've had,

it makes my both happy and sad.

All the laughs we've had

All the memories we've made.

From cooking pink pancakes to making some interesting European oatcakes for interest's sake.

Road trips singing Disney

It was definitely an interesting thing to see.

Living like a family, functioning like an army.

We hit hard work like a tsunami.

I can to help but look forward with immense anticipation and excitement

to our next engagement.

Will it be an adventurous ski trip to Canada?

Or maybe a spontaneous tour of Europe?

Well, we'll have to see where time takes us

Maybe we'll finally end up having coffee on a roof truss.
