Best that i never had
I woke up this morning
And then it finally
Hit me like hot cup of coffee burning the tip of my tongue
Your no longer here
I try not to think about it
Sometimes it's hard and painful
You meant alot to me
But I have no regrets whatsoever
About the choice made
The words you said
Engrafted a different imprint on my heart that day
I have prepared myself
For when those fond memories of us enter my mind
I know exactly what to say
I am going to be allright with or without you
Release me from this idea that I'm the reason you left
I've finally accepted the harsh and cruel truth about the matter
That you and I were nothing more than
The possibility of what could have been
So I want to set the record straight
I thank and applaud you for showing true colors
Yours truly
Best that I never had
