Best Left Unchanged

Once there was a book

Upon the castle of heroes and mythical creatures

A portal

Time did not exist, only dreams

Once there was a useless pile of parchment and leather

Upon the mountain of junk and worn out stuffed animals

A waste

Time was limited, dreams could wait

Once there were forgotten memories

Upon the boxes of a life well lived

A childhood

Time had gone too fast, but the dreams had never died
