Bestfriend.
I declare that I have no "bestfriend."
You know the kind of friend that you can talk to about anything at any time; day, night, or morning?
I'm talking the kind of friend that's there for you no matter the occasion or the situation.
The kind of friend that's ready to whoop any ass; white, black, or asian.
I've got the kind of friends that only need you, when they want you.
You know the ones that don't come to chill with you, but eat up all your food?
I'm talking the ones that only stick up for you when they're offended, too.
The ones that walk with you for a moment, then ditch you for their other crew.
And I'm like the best friend, notice the space.
You know the kind of friend that actually picks up the phone when you call at any time; even at 3 in the morning?
I'm talking the kind of friend that's down for what ever no matter the weather.
The kind of friend that'll give you anything you need as long as you ask for it first; I've got you...
And I'm also the most true friend; the truest indeed.
You know the kind you go to with secrets, your skeletons-I keep them, so tell me what ever you need.
I'm your get away from reality when you need me the most; apart from your spouse I'm the best you can get.
And I'm as real as they come; I hold my tongue for no one; and I live with no regrets.
Yet-- I declare that I have no "bestfriend."
Although to everyone else, I am a bestfriend. The best friend. The truest friend.
But, at the end of the day who's there for me? Who's my sister, or brother, or even just my other pea?
The only bestfriend I have is me.
