Bestfriend

I sit alone in the dark

the contrast is stark

of the moonlight on the grass

tears slide down my cheeks

as I think about your face

and wish away your pain

my bestfriend

I feel the hurt

I share the agony

giving up the will to live

is something we've both done

my bestfriend

I care

I really do

don't give up

I'm here for you
