Betrayal

Is this the end?

As he stabs me in the back once again

I thought he was my friend

Maybe even something of greater extent

But for her expense, he chooses to see me suffer instead

And eventually leaves me for dead

There she was in his loving arms

The arms that held me once before

There she stood wearing all his charms

The ones I still adore

However there was one that made all the girls swarm

The kind that most fall for,

But it didn't matter anymore

For we would commit one last sin behind closed doors

As I arose, I bled

There he was by her side once again

No amount of words could comprehend

The amount of pain I had to retain

When he eventually left me for dead
