Betrayal

Delicious The vengeance As it always is That metallic taste was breathtaking The victory Creates a fire Unrest hunger There are the chains And there the cage The gag The tears The loser The grand fool Who dared rise when all others Knelt As they should The delicate jaw Grasped roughly in hand Those wide eyes They show such weakness There is no sympathy For this brother The man now a criminal Yet There is something warm The urge to embrace Comfort Heal Change As if that could be done This man beyond help a self-made monster So heartbreaking Blood ties Curse them and their power Over the winner While the traitor Never felt their sting It is maddening To want to hurt And to help The victory The fool The brother The embrace The traitor Punished Not enough And plenty The victor surrendersems go here)

A friend of mine is suffering from this and they have embraced it as a part of their self and who they are. They are proud to rally for future help with me by their side.
