Betrayal
Betrayal is a silly thing,
That only the broken understand,
How love so strong can be broken on command.
Replaced by anger and sadness so deep from within,
Your world slowly starts to crumble and your mind begins to spin.
Betrayal is a silly thing,
That tinkers with your trust,
Its the ones you loved the most that leave you out to rust.
Abandoned and alone and you struggle not cry,
Left with nothing but your thoughts and the neverending “why”?
Betrayal is a silly thing,
That toughens up your heart,
As the days go by you’re less prone to fall apart.
You’re now stronger and smarter than ever before.
It seems betrayal taught a lesson,
And now your ready to restore.
