Betrayed

When you left me for fame, did you think that it wouldn’t have it’s consequences? I know I can ghost people sometimes, but I’d never leave them the way you did. I thought that we had something special. I thought that maybe somebody had actually liked me for me. I thought wrong. I spent so many nights crying over you, and nobody cared. You promised that you’d never replace me- but when she showed up you left me the first chance you got. She made you happier than I ever could, and I was almost happy for you before being reminded of all your empty promises. She made me feel unworthy of your attention. She’s so much more talented than I could ever be, but I know you’re just using her. I don’t mean to sound snobby but, I hate her because you think she’s perfect. I gave everything I had to you, while she just smiles at you and she wins you. I’m sorry that I wasn’t good enough.
