Better

I’m sick and tired of seeing how you treat women

You treat women as if they’re less worthless the the shoes you wear

They can get dirty by every time you put your foot down

Not with intentions to help their already battered soul

You finess their late night cries for help

just to be their late night activity

I’m saying this with a tone of urgency

Because this needs to be address

You deceive their loving heart with promises you don't intend to keep

Only to have one drink hoping to get a couple of peeks

Trying to make your bodies one but at the end of it all she

lost and you won

Not the prize you wanted

Not only did you take her stuff

But you took all of her trust she was going to give to the next one

She can bear to sleep without having nightmares about the next one

You make it hard for me

She can’t go without doubting every word i say

But it’s gonna be okay

She finally realizes that her destination has nothing to do with you

Shes greater than you ever made her feel

Higher than you could ever throw her

She's valuable beyond belief

So baby girl don't let that one Nigga who thought he was a man ruin you

You not only deserve better you deserve you

So love yourself because no one will love you more

Expand your mind not your legs for your head can go so

much further when your legs go dead

Divine and beautiful at your best

Don’t let your little head stay still

For you are more than a long dress and a black pair of heels

You deserve more than I can give you

But I’ll go down trying to give you all of me

No promises needed to say

No other women or glamorous lifestyle would make me go away

For you are beautiful

I haven’t seen all of the world

But i'll make sure to give you all of my marbles and pearls

I’ll make sure just to be there even when you don’t ask

I’ll listen when you just want to talk

No contact needed. I’ll wait till you feel ready. We gone ride this till the wheels fall off.

All i ask is for you to grab my hand

If any man tries to approach you just remember you have a loving man

A man worth nothing than a few grains of sand.

But you can make him great.

Like on Sundays at dinner with Gramas plate

For the love you give is nothing but pure.

Cleaner than this pure water they try to get us to drink

So please don’t let that one nigga break you

Your destiny is great and God ain’t through with you

So for your sake and mine. I’ll just ask that you pull it though.
