better.

the pain i feel is intense

like a burning fire inside of my chest

i can't seem to trust

i'd rather cry

hidden behind a smile

a happy girl is disguise

my heart gets empty

how can i still feel this way?

even when i have Jesus

an enemy attacking a child of the one almighty

and letting him win with agony

my brain leaks out

as i try to recollect my thoughts

the sound of Him fills my box

the one i hide in

where i feel lost.

finally leaving these things at the cross,

as one foot leads the other follows,

i'm now in a pool

my body has sunk,

fully engulfed,

not to be dramatic but i felt it

i saw it

the beauty of a sunny day

my old life has sunk away

pulled out with a smile on my face

i thank God for His amazing Grace.
