Better off Alone

I run from the sun

Yet I dance in the ever drizzling rain.

I run from love

Because it always leads to pain.

I run from fights

Only because I quiver with many fears.

I run from rumors

But they eventually catch and torture my ears.

I run from you

Your eyes are daggers as you sit on your throne.

I run from everything

That's why  i'm better off alone.
