Better Drunk

We pull eachother close

Myself sober, yourself a drunkard

comforting me after a recent breakup

you hiccup, i smile

i feel you breathe, the smell of fireball on your lips

i escape my depression through your kiss

caressing eachother, going no further than this

we grow fond of eachother, more than friends

we still remain at the stage

we both needed this, a taste of eachothers company while were both going through hell

its just as well that we stay here

you pass out, i sleep on your chest

i wake up to you whispering to me "good morning gorgeous" we share a sober lip lock

heh, turns out, you kiss better when your'e drunk.
